Block puzzle
BitBlocks
Place blocks on an eight-by-eight board and clear rows and columns. No timer, no pressure — just the slow squeeze of a board filling up while you look for one more fit.
UNDER THE HOOD
You feel every move before you see it
As the ghost preview snaps to a new cell, the phone gives a short tick — one per cell, throttled so a fast swipe does not turn into a buzz. Placing a piece has weight; clearing a line hits harder, and the screen shake scales with how many lines went at once.
Hands that are always playable
Sometimes the game quietly deals a kinder set of pieces; sometimes a harder one. The harder hands are checked before they are dealt: the generator searches every order and position, including the clears that happen along the way, and only deals a hand it has proven can be placed.
Two skins, one game
Eight-bit by default — flat blocks with a single shadow edge, a pixel typeface and scanlines. Switch to modern for bevelled candy blocks if you prefer.
